In setting up a recent TVS50 with an KXTD816-7, the initial setup (dip switches
set to 5) did not start up in Dpits mode. It started in APT, OFFLINE. Checked
cord, jacks, KXTD816 programming for 117, even checked with another 816. Same
results.
I then tried setting the dip to 0, turning TVS off

1.0 programming tool wouldn't install properly on my laptop. It appeared to
install, but after install when I clicked the resulting .exe program, I would
