I think that David is correct, while you MIGHT be able to get a T-1
"split" as
19 voice ( plus 1 signaling ) and 4 bundled data channels ( 256 K) .
the truth of the matter is that it would require a "special" dsu / csu
that no one would want to do, because of the limited usage.

I have a customer who ordered a T1 and wants me to connect 20 voice lines and
he will use another channel for Data. How do I tell if there is dial tone and
how do I make the connections because some channels are for voice and some
