I have a Type 1 VW and it's connected to the Diehl case with two studs at the bottom and two bolts at the top. One of the bolts has a tapered shank because the case hole (top left) is larger. Two questions: 1. Why is the one mounting hole larger? and 2. What are the correct fasteners all around?
