Im researching fuel tanks (I plan to have only a header tank) and am currently leaning toward using the RR prefab that I inherited.
Are there any issues I should be aware of in using the RR unit? I realized that Langford, Jeff Scott, and others have built theirs from scratch, but I assume thats because the standard dimensions of the boat were altered. My boat is only a couple inches wider at the shoulders so the tank fits a little snug toward the front and loose toward the back. I assume I can secure it well enough once I start glassing.
