angle and ran across the firewall inside, top and bottom to spread

Although stainless is tough it is not nearly as hard as an AN bolt. In
wing attach fittings all you are interested in is shear strength. I
personally wouldn't think of using anything but an unmolested AN bolt for

through a flying surface from one side of the wing to the other, thus
interupting the boundry layer on that side and causing drag. With your

application. Since I lengthened the engine mount, The cowl is about
4" short and isn't flowing into the bottom of the bird at an
