I made mine with direct cable and no slack with a 4" solid wheel. Why? It
was simple and I didn't want to waste my time overthinking it. I get
postive, direct control on the ground like it's steering on rails. It can
be twitchy on takeoff and landing in a crosswind if you are lazy. Once I
got used

Yes,the latch systems on the Crow harnesses are a bit heavier than some of the
other restraint systems. I used a lighter system in my KR simply because it
was an unfinished project when I bought it and the belts came with the project.
I don't recall the brand, but I liked them. The Crow harne
I realize that everyone has a budget but if you can swing it to go with
an Aviation Products unit and you won't regret it. They have the light
weight single fork with the 4" wheel and a heavier single fork with a 6"
wheel. Matco has a 6" unit that now comes with the pneumatic tire and

Trying a 3rd time... dang old laptop and touchy keyboard. Anyway, I did find
it and will send pictures for you. I quit building my KR2-S when I went the
ultralight kind of flying and built a Challenger 2 place.

Yes. It is their lightest weight assembly using a 4" wheel. I had the
Short direct cables will only work if the wind is straight on your nose and you
are not producing any torque; otherwise it won’t.
The reason is that your direction of travel rarely equates to the amount of
rudder input you have. Here’s an example:
You are approaching to land and have a three knot

I don't think there is no torque figure for the win attachment bolts. Just do
them tight and no need for cotter keys or pins, as you can never get them to
line up when you have a good tightness of the bolts and nuts. Just use nylocks,
they won't come undone. I take my wings of regularly. You can

Jeff,
I use also the Crow harnesses. The are beautiful, but I think the are very
heavy, everything is staal, later on I think I ordered a wrong partnummer. I
think in the future i the steal buckels for aluminium. Are Yours also that
