Hi guys
What is you thoughts on direct cable to tail with no slack??
Or
Cables with slack ( as other types of aircraft use)
Or
Springs connecting the tail wheel?

I went with very little slack and springs.

My rudder and tailwheel cables are connected inside the fuselage and exit in separate fair leads.  That eliminated any side loads on the cable outside the fuselage.

My tailwheel cable is as tight as possible without putting slack in the rudder cable.  I have "zero" rudder dancing for directional control.  It steers like a nose dragger with direct steering connect.

Others prefer slack in the cables for reasons I'm not sure about.  I like the ground handling of my KR.  I often forget I'm flying a taildragger.
