The EFS2 is probably one of the best options ou there for a vw It's
also out of production.
The aeroinjector by aerovee is not an Ellison product.
A company called rotec makes Ellison clones.

FR4 for circuit boards is not made to be structural. I have seen a lot
of boards that are more epoxy than fiberglass. What you want in your
structural laminates is more glass and less epoxy.

The old fashioned horizontal venetian blinds would make a perfect gap cover
strip. Its kind of like a measuring tape when you bend it, it goes flat
