So I got back from my X-country adventure yesterday and I'm safely on the
ground at my parents house in Tehachapi. Over-all, 7500NM or 8600
Statute Miles and 80 flight hours. Im honestly surprised I had almost
Zero Mechanical problems with the KR2. The routine maintenance included 3 oil
changed, and 3 valve lash adjustments. The only non-routine
maintenance was a brake-job in Maine. My longest non-stop flight was
7.2 hours and 667NM. All-in-all, a very fun and successful vacation but
I'm ready to go back to work. Thanks to everyone who offered me
support/hangar/bed while I was cruising around the country. I apologize that I
didn't get to stop at airports and chat with other KR builder and owners. I am
fortunate to meet the ones I did. If everything goes wrong, I'll see everyone
at the KR meet.
