That is the beauty of gentoo. It is secure as well as a rolling release so
if there is a new version of apache which hasnt been rolled out yet file a
bug and they try to get a version bump asap obviously after some time
testing that particular version.

I absolutely agree with Israel re: free software solutions. I became
involved in Kibo due to freedom and will remain so as long as we are
committed to freedom whenever/wherever we can be.

where a mailing list is good and the archive remains private and internal.
