up).

i want to install linux and windows in my box
but i want maximum number of windows (to be specific WIN2000,WIN98,WINXP) and
Linux (Redhat and Debian)

Create a boot image that Win2k bootloader shall use to boot the
/dev/hda5 partition using
dd if=/dev/hda5 of="boot.lnx" bs=1024 count=1
boot.lnx be put in windows partition.
boot.lnx should be referred in boot.ini Win2k

i use red hat linux 7.3 which i dual boot with win 98.during
installation
of linux though my graphics card(sis 300 )is shown in the list i
cant select it.a message appears which says no valid database
available.i have to select the sis 6326 card to complete the
installation.also

monitors. BTB are you getting X on both displays.

capabilities. Other wise your needs (GUI) can be

save the file to either a windows partitions or a floppy
reboot system to win2k
add a line to a file \boot.ini in your win 2k boot partiition
(it is hidden, read oinly)

you install Lilo on the MBR and not on the First sector of the root Partition.
