Dear Rajat ,
Good suggestions . Why don't we appoint a local co-ordinator (area wise ) to handle the CD's .

Subject: [ilugd]: Suggestions

Hello,

I had joined the group, few months back but have noted some important points about the mailing list, which

can further simplify and ease the processes at present. Suggestions are --

**  At present in our mailing list a single message is given to all members, and further replies to it are also mailed back.
creating a hefty inbox. Instead I had joined a mailing list earlier, they had the option of obtaining the messages of
the whole week as an single mail during registeration. Though the process delays the instant  receipt and feedback, but it is an
good alternative   for beginners atleast as they get all the technical messages as an single mail instead of a good bunch of
mails which also take time to read if it web-based mail.

***  Linux CD are still an precious resource to be shared and spread. But, at present absence of mechanism to track the nearest
source for them is still required. I suggest a database to be made as per locality (Karol Bagh, Lajpat Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, etc.
...) and any user desirous of getting CD ( whether for free or paid ) can mail  or phone to a member residing near him.

Regards

Rajat Kakkar
