give this command dd if=/dev/hda5 of=linboot.bs bs=512 count=1 save the file to either a windows partitions or a floppy reboot system to win2k add a line to a file \boot.ini in your win 2k boot partiition (it is hidden, read oinly) line looks like this.... C:\linboot.bs ="Linux what ever" It should work.....
