Helo Admin, I hope u'r needs (common cmds) can be meet with history capability of modern shells. Most common shells provide history store/search/modify capabilities. Other wise your needs (GUI) can be meet with TCL/Tk or Perl/Tk. Learning bit of Tcl and Tk will be of extreme (!) help to u, as an admin
