well nitin if you are using an exe program then most probably it is called 24online or cyberroam client...cos that is what is most common with the cable operators around...  the linux version of the same is available online...try searching for cyberroam client on www.sf.net and you shall find it.

anyone? maybe you can ask your cable operator to give you an rpm of the authentication system. i am shortly getting cable conn. myself, and when i asked my provider he told me that for windows he has an exe and for a linux he has an rpm. i haven't seen it and thus can't comment yet. vivek On
