i downloaded this file "24onlineClient.txt" (as this was the only file with same name as given in the instructions) ...copyed it to /root and gave the command "chmod 755 /root/24onlineClient" it gave a message as "no such file or directory"...
when i did "chmod 755 /root/24onlineClient.txt" i got a # prompt......on giving "24onlineClient -s" i got a message as "command does not exits"...type of message....
then i tried "chmod +x (+X both at a time) /root/24onlineClient" same response...
i have even booted the system twice...and tried then....no shuch luck.....
I got a PCQ 7.1(based on Red Hat 7.1)....dual boot Win/Linux...Gnome environment
a D-LinkDFE-538TX 10/100 ehternet card (on boot sequence it shows 'Starting eth0: [yes] ) .....through Win i have been given "Direct2net" client side logger...and an cable internet connection.
any suggestion on solution for this....pl
