essentially this on certain data. If you want access to file change info like

This is trivial, and what I alluded to at the start. Of course you
can do version control on your cfengine config, and rolling back means
going back to the previous version. Whether or not that is the same
as rolling back in time depends on the fullness of your specif
svn, but never with cfengine.

out OSes that are good at mulitthreading (e.g. solaris on sparc not
ix86, certain linuxes are better than others and they seem to be

"admit:" rule. that is where the error occurs. it tries to match the
hostname to the domain name wildcard and fails.
My guess is that there is no DNS support on your test machine? Try
replacing *.domain.com with the IP series 10.196.143 fir instance and
see if that helps.

idea, in the way
that you
suggest, then this can be read into an array by cfengine. The key is to make
the pattern
itself into a piece of documented system knowledge, not simply use it as a
short cut that
hides the information from clear view.
