What version of Gnucash are you running? There were problems with some versions of Gnucash and MacOS 15. They have been fixed in the latest version of Gnucash. I am running Gnucash 5.10-1, MacOS 15.3 on an M1 Max chip with no problem. IIRC Gnucash 5.9 had the problem and it was fixed in 5.9-2 B

James, The target will depend upon the distribution you are running. As Adrien has said /opt is one possibility. If you are running a version released by the Ubuntu distribution managers, i.e. installed with sudo apt-get install gnucash, it is likely to be installed in /usr/local. The advanta
