When you do a full checkout, you may do the trick other Gnome
translators commonly do: run "intltool-update vi" once inside
xkbdesc/po/ directory: that will always give you an updated PO

Those two are incompatible approaches, and Bruno opted for the better

former GNU practices/recommendations. :)
