focused on things like the FalconJS donation (which
was cleared legally last night, now needs signatures and other stuff). I've
been hoping other committers would jump in on the patches, especially
because we are now discussing graduation and the list of initial committers
might get culled to
this week.

I'm just wondering if how hard it would be to re-purpose some of that code

Do we know that CSV is not allowed. It is just formatted text. Not a

Hi Folks,
As most of you are aware, Apache Flex is still in ³podling² status and not
yet a full-fledged project at Apache. Our wonderful mentors believe we are
ready to ³graduate² to a top-level project. In order to do so, we have to
execute several steps, two of which are:
A) prepare a charter
view of the code. But if you are the
shepherd for a significant donation, you will likely be given access
quickly.
It is done this way as an extra check to try to make sure some code that
shouldn't be donated doesn't get into SVN because once it is there, you
can't really get rid of it.

at might be more possible, but I don't see how you could build an AIR app

Jeffry,
Any commit can be vetoed for technical or legal reasons, but otherwise I

Hmm, I just poked through a couple of folders of scripts. I never noticed

they got tested.
And you can sanity check MustellaDependencyDB by grep-ing the XML files for

Carol, we might need to get on batik's mailing list and see if anyone else

copyright doesn't let Apache change the license. Or maybe you can figure

the opposite,
there are many advantages to having MXML generate data structures of simple
values, and allow the app framework to interpret it at runtime, especially
if the compiler has done its work so the interpreter doesn't need as much
error checking.

that this will work for captive runtime for mobile apps,
and not sure how you are supposed to get the other executables that help
make up the AIR package.
But if you want to try prototyping it, feel free. I wll try to find time to
help next week, if you need help. I want to make sure it will wo
r requests as
well. Then you wouldn't need to run that from the AIR app. The thing to
watch out for is what to do if there is already an http server on that port.
Macs have default http servers.

hers are being asked to "take one for the
community". I promise I will grumble and complain until I get it down, but
I will and hopefully we will have a stronger code base and community in the
end.

Currently, the port is compiled in, but I'm sure with more work we could
negotiate on the server. Not a high priority for me at this time though.

IMO, the second one. There will always be a good chance that we don't want
to release every commit that went in the develop branch, but I would expect
we'll take almost all of them, and then want to

Maybe. I haven't tried it on Windows. I think there is some Java utility
that will dump out the jar and see if that class is in there or not.
