I'm mostly a lurker but agree with the below. The big change I see as a
possibility and I have to admit I thought they missed the boat to begin with
but it's toyotas approach to hydrogen hybrid . The unit creates its own
hydrogen as its needed so the only thing you are filling up with is dis

we see today things are impossible. But with each step forward the creative

es not really have a waste problem compared to fossil.
It's also massively safer (killed less people). In fact, your average coal
plant puts an order of magnitude more radioactive waste into the environment
than a same sized coal plant! On Mon, Nov 6, 2023 at 10:56 AM 63urban via EV

This all started when I asked if anyone had any knowledge about toyota's claim
that they plan to generate hydrogen on board as needed. If they pull it off it
will be an absolute game changer.A simple no we don't know anything about

I don't think this is the case. Nuclear plants which in North America we have
plenty need to put out a base amount but they can also be used very effectively
for peak power needs. It will be a very long time before there is so much
solar ( which produces during peak) that we put the nucle

What is your duty cycle required for the jobs you plan to do? The new oem
batteries are meant to last an 8 hr shift. If you only need about an hr at a
time you might be able to find much cheaper options.

If hydrogen can be used as a battery then it would not be a waste as the cost
of solar comes down you have a use for excess capacity

Switching gears but still on the rv concept. How difficult would it be to have
plug and play battery pack systems.
I have the idea of a retirement rv party pack. I want to build a trailerable
electric boat which will likely have a capacity for a solar array of a bit over
2400 watts. Will

I have a battery plant as a client. There are several very competent recycles
out there. A huge amount of the material they bring in comes from the
manufacturing side itself. Units not up to spec. Either at the plant or when
