upgraded it gave the message:

I just did a apt-get dist-update to testing, and it killed my X. Why?
When I installed Potato, I got a nice graphic setup screen for X,
where I could setup my mouse, keybord, grapics card and screen. Can I
use this again?

I sometimes have a problem with non-hda drives because they spin down. The
unmount command tries to spin them up, doesn't wait long enough, and you
have an unclean unmount.

I wonder why my rxvt looks weird everytime I quit from vi? the rxvt window
is full of every last commands and its output, and I can't find my cursor
until i blindly type "clear" and press enter.

Run 'modconf' and pick the tulip driver. Then see 'man interfaces'
for information on editing

you ought to still have them yourself if you had that version installed
