I want to make sure of something before I buy a SCSI card for my Mac 8500.
The Mac 8500 (an old world machine) comes with built-in SCSI, but the internal
connector is narrow SCSI-2 (8 bit, I think 10 MHz). I want to speed up my mac
rather than buy a whizzy new Mac for now.

FRITZ!Card USB v2.0 USB-ISDN Adaptor and their Linux support.
They do ship "Linux Drivers", most of which are available in Source
form. However, there's one central object file that's only available

Sorry, this is just a typo in the mail. I tried at least 10 different
writings and also "hd:,\\:tbxi" which I found in the environment. Each

3. tried to boot form CD, but does not work
