many years ago. I have a Mac chainsaw that needs several shots to warm
it up enough that it will take off on its own. Have never tried it with
a diesel though.

I just replaced the pin stop traveler this year. Replaced with a
Garhauer adjustable traveler and a 3:1/6:1 Mainsheeting system.

Yes, as a matter of fact the Alden wrenches are sized like normal
wrenches. The ones that we made with the grad students were fixed jaw.
The pivoting clamp lower jaw is an improvement to the concept. I don't
have any in my tool box.

to 37 degrees in about an hour yesterday when I
fired it up. Draws about 6 amps at start up and 5 amps running. Will
have to see what the duty cycle is as I use it. Luckily, I bought one of
the battery monitors that Joe Della Barba posted so I will be able to
count amp-hours.

Just crafted a mast boot from a 1964 Triumph Bonneville rear tire
tube. overlapped the edges and slit it to accommodate the main wire
halyard exiting just above the deck. It came out pretty nice.

Helicoil? The 3/8 is a coarse thread (16 tpi). I would assume that the
5/16 is as well (18 tpi). You should be able to pick up a thread repair
kit at an auto parts store.

I bought a pair of 40SN at Strictly Sail, Chicago. They are nice pieces
of equipment. They are my consistent use snatch blocks. My Redwing 35
doesn't have cars like the 36 so my Jib sheets go to the snatch blocks
on the inboard track.

mask the boot strip. extremely flexible and cheap, if there is a
