I have the TackTick system on my 29 MKII and am pretty happy with it. I did not buy the compass unit and may do that in the future so that I can realize all of the benefits of the system. Without that I can't get real VMG for instance and use all of the tools in it to determine best wind angles a

We had them on a J-24 I raced on. They are neat. The ability to move the instrument heads around is nice - we had two dual displays on the mast, then would bring one back to the bulkhead while heading downwind, so we could see it better. The only negative was that every so often we would get in
