But, I've tested things thoroughly and I can honestly say the system works wonderfully. Plusses: Super easy to install -- all wireless and pre-networked. Displays are easy to read and operate. There's a wealth of information available from the dual display, from depth to speed to logs to water temperature. The wind display can be "zoomed in" to show wind angles within a certain range. Minusses: The depth alarm will go off a lot, possibly something to do with how the signal is sent -- suggest the alarm be turned off and just keep an eye on the display when in shallow waters. If you race, you'll either want to upgrade to the more professional series or go to a more expensive vendor like B&G for more precise readings. For our beer can racing and the cruising we do, this turned out to be a phenomenal buy. All the best, Edd Edd M.
