TackTick is now owned by Raymarine.
I have the wind instrument with the wired display.  My bimini is up most of
the summer  and wires were being run to the pod anyhow.  It has worked
perfectly.  However, to interface it with NMEA instruments requires a $500
converter box I did not purchase, so I only get apparent wind.  Not a big
deal. I did not look at the other products.  However, I've sailed on Pat's
29 with the wireless/solar wind depth and speed.  His wind unit seems less
reliable, but I have no idea why.
