e, food storage, battery space, an excellent shower, and costs about
ten times the value of our 35. It certainly is no faster than the 35.

Victoria,
, and I was happy to be in that boat. Pretty breezy, steady 58
knots gusting to 63 for a bit, 5 1/2 days overall, and when it eased off
to 25 it was nice and calm. Lee Youngblood was there, it was good times.

Sounding good. We changed out our cabintop winches for the 30 ST's as well,
it was a good upgrade. We went with Lewmar clutches too.
Hope you have a great season!

They were different boats, but both Hinterhoellers only 35 numbers apart.
Salt water felt just a little draggier, as a purely subjective opinion.

Not this year, unfortunately. We will be on our way to Saskatchewan for a

I soak the lines in a tub of OxiClean overnight, then rinse, hand wash in
Woolite, rinse, and spin in the washing machine a couple of times. Lot of
work, but it's amazing how much gorp the OxiClean dislodges.

I have seen some recommendations to use two thinner tapes with a bead of
Dow in between them. The final outside bead of sealant is done after the
bond has set, much easier to get pretty results when you are only doing
that one thing instead of as part of the assembly circus.

I skipped the varnish and the epoxy and used Cetol.
I would never use epoxy on any exterior wood that you can't cover. If you
can cover it, you don't need epoxy.
One ding in the epoxy finish and you are pretty much guaranteed to have to
wood them down and start over.

I used to use oil, but I switched to Brylcreem.
Seriously, I stripped the old finish down to bare woodd and used a
polyurethane varnish and stuck on abrasive strips. Looks good a couple of
years in.

I fixed my belt wear by shimming the alternator pulley out 1/8". Now,
instead of a belt every week/month I'm getting a couple of years per belt.
Those pulleys have to be perfectly aligned with that load on a single belt.
