Well, yes. I rig our jacklines so by the time the MOB hits the end they are
level with the stern ladder.
At this point, many C&C owners are scrod because they have the top lifeline
on the stern woven through the ladder so it's impossible to lower from the
water. Our ladder is free to drop and I have a line on it that loops down
to the waterline so it can be pulled down by the MOB. This is especially
important if you singlehand a lot.
