I am continuing with my work on the shift cable issue. To summarize, the
shift cable suddenly could not shift the gearbox properly. Looking at the
gearbox side, the cable conduit ends may have moved and caused the issue.
I've verified the cable at the engine end did not change

1) the mounting where the bracket is attached to, is a bit loose from the
hull; how is it attached to the hull
So I took the handrail inside the cabin off, exposed the holes hidden, I
assume those are for the handrail outside the cabin. There seems to be no
screws in those holes. Is the outside handrail attached to the cabin with
screws or something? Mine isn’t coming off yet.

Just wondering about the my interior teak maintenance. The picture below
shows what it looks like now. I tried to use paper towel, teak cleaner,

I usually have to turn the key a few times for the starter to actually
rotate. I can hear the solenoid clicking even when the starter does not

Reporting back. followed the guide and verified the transmitter had
resistance of 1787ohms, verified there was VAC output when the paddle was
turning fast (couldn't get to the 5knots as boat is on land). Decided to
sand the connectors, and put it back, tested again, and it worked...the
connectors l
