I agree with comment 5. This is unquestionably wrong. There should never
be three quavers beamed together in 3/4 time.
Other references allow beaming 4 quavers
If one uses landscape setting, i.e.
#(set-global-page-size "a4" 'landscape)
then the output of "lilypond --png landscape.ly" will NOT be landscape (90
degree rotation is missing).
Attached is a sample file landscape.ly. Run it with
lilypond --png landscape.ly
and you will get a png like the at

It turns out that pnmscale (or pnmtopng) sets the image's resolution to
