I have found that running a full backup while a user (or a full restore for
that matter) can really slow down a system if the user is trying to use it.
Since the the laptop user isn't in often, it may be a large backup.

and harddrive down automatically, just the system itself never suspends, so

I've never set a maximum spool size. I have a 67GB partition that I use for
