In case anyone else is trying to set up something similar, I'll answer my
own post with a simpler solution than using Bacula to implement the concept.
1. Create udev rules to run a script when one of the external HDDs
is plugged in.
2. Create the script to:

As far as I know, an rpm's dependency is well, derived by he who writes
spec. devel for building, but server for install? Maybe the spec needs
fixing.

I don't think you can do it without installing

Yum keeps wanting to install postgresql-server as a dependency.

It could be something to do with Exchange 2007 having multiple storage groups.
My Exchange 2007 test server broke and I haven't had time to fix it just
lately. I have definitely tested it with two storage groups under 2003 but it
could still be a regression..

I chuckled at backing these up myself, it's a rather circular dependency:)
If you back those up, when you need them to alleviate the use of a certain
tool when your catalog dies, you need to use that very tool to

Hi, all.
Perhaps this is a bug. After upgrading the kernel from 2.6.26-2-686 to
2.6.30.10 problem disappeared. Backup and recovery with acl support work
perfectly.

Hello :-)
I would like to implement a Bacula 5.0.1 system with backup volumes on
internal HDD storage and to have at least two external HDDs which
essentially mirror the internal HDD storage. The purpose is to have one of
the external HDDs off site at all times.
Is this possible?
I have stud

Well i actually was trying to stuff a huge schedule into one job with a
volume rotation.
I can use the old 6 jobs per client, but the config file is getting hard to
navigate.
Schedule {
Name = "60min"
#Every 1h (Use for 1 day, keep 15days, 3 volume rotation)
#Monday
Run = Leve
How i can restore files from old Volume? This Volume brake.
bscan synchronization give result show below.

I'm getting a little stuck with the new configuration for multiclient bacula
config.
Schedule {
Name = "Full"
#Every week (Every Friday, use for 1 moths, 3 volume rotation)
Run = Level=Full Pool=FullPool Friday at 13:05
}
This part of my config gives me this error:

I have a client that has recently purchased Exchange 2010 Standard. I
am trying to get it to backup using the plugin included in Bacula
(5.0.1), but apparently this plugin will no longer work with Exchange
