Thank you very much for replying. My E: drive is a LUN handed to exchange from my SAN, it contains the exchange databases. My F: drive is another LUN and it contains the logs from exchange. I will try to change the plugin line and see what happens.
I will look in to what VSS is actually backing up as well.
