Still, the version information is not really precise... When I had had the first trouble I'd been using 1.36.2, so I upgrade to 1.36.3, it means my 2nd problem was with version 1.36.3. Ok, so we have to assume then that there is no possibility of problems with the file system or disk drives... s

Hi Ogee, you say you are getting checksum errors. This will be because you are backing up files whilst they are changing. No backup system can cope with that. If you use (ufs)dump for instance it will appear to work but you will still get a corrupted file. The good thing about bacula is

This is my first experience with bacula. I want to install and give it a test ride to determine if this will work for our group. I have installed the server and client bacula v1.36.3. I have manually tested the mx-changer and it work fine. I have run the test mode of btape and had no problems.
