Hello,
I have installed alsa 0.9rc3 on my system with a Creative SBLive. I can
manage to get either the digital or analogue out working (by specifying
module params). I have noticed that the CD internal input does not get
routed through the digital out. I have a TV tuner card, and in order

How do I capture either line in or mic on this thing? I've tried several
settings and have not been able to find the right one. I'm using ALSA
driver version 1.0.11 on a 2.6.12.5 kernel.

I tried what was said to record and it did not work for me either. There is

In all the above I have also tried different probe_mask options with no change.
I have searched the net and tried several of the suggestions, but no change.
I have tried a quick search through the source code, but it is not obvious to
me where the muting af Headpho

be good for music), or to try some other hardware solution, like running
the keyboard from a power supply and using a midi cable with a seperate

Before I do this, it would be good to know if anyone on alsa-user has
any suggestions?
Thanks,

Thanks for your reply. Would it be relatively easy for me to change the

I did try playing with pulse but to no avail, i think actually having done more

Hello, I have an Intel D945GTP board with onboard sound, a Intel HDA card
which uses the SigmaTel STAC9221 A1 codec. I'm not even sure about what I'm
saying. I just tried to digest lscpi, dmidecode and /proc/asound/.
The point is that I have no feedback of Mic nor Line input. Input works, and I
/proc/asound/version says:
Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.16.
Compiled on Apr 24 2008 for kernel 2.6.24-1-686 (SMP).
Alsamixer also shows 1.0.16 on the top of the screen.
Is there any other information (some /proc file, some command output) you guys
would like to see

Thanks anyway, guys. I'll keep looking for help. Ask people you know, etc.

Andy.
