I'm currently working on porting ALSA to a custom platform/audio chip and facing issues with recording.
The issue is that I hear sound too loud even if I keep the Mic gain at a minimum.
To record sound without noise, I need to keep the Mic quite far off fro

Thanks for these links. I will try out dmudi, since I am using a mini-itx
board for my soundstuff (not fans...) and it semes that 64studio is a 64 bit
solution...
