Hi, I'm using alsa 1.0.11 on openSuse 10.1 with a nforce4-onboard-sounchip. I'm using the following asoundrc for dmix and upmix:
pcm.dmix51 { type upmix slave.pcm { type dmix ipc_key { @func refer name defaults.pcm.ipc_key } ipc_gid { @func refer name defaults.pcm.ipc_gid } slave { pcm "hw:0,0" period_size 512 periods 10 channels 6 } } } pcm.pdmix { type plug slave.pcm "dmix51" } pcm.!default "pdmix" pcm.dsp0 { type plug slave.pcm "dmix" } ctl.mixer0 { type hw card 0 } But how can I now change the volume of the whole sound?? If I use Master or PCM I just change the volume of the front-speaker, but I want to change all speakers. I would be happy if anyone can help me!
