upgrading the software. You have to do one before the other. Depending on old
OS and new OS, you may want to upgrade before or after the move.

That "should" work. As a safe measure, you can rename the original node on
the original server instead of deleting it. Delete the renamed node once
you are comfortable the procedure worked.

Eric,
Just be aware that if you are backing up to a container pool, encrypted
files will not dedup. If that's the case, you may want to encrypt traffic
instead, and use at-rest encryption on the storage pool.

Hmmm. I don't have experience with DP with non-root users. I've only come
across this issue when two nodes would compete for the same file, first one
succeeds, second one fails because the file is locked.
