on the money. When IBM configured the library, they configured it as four
Logical Libraries. I just blew away that configuration and set it up as one

The problem with the Emerald III based FC cards from JNI is that they do not
support the FC-Tape protocol. Their new Emerald IV based FC cards do support

into my McData SAN Director (ED-5000). All of those (6) connections are in

VOL xx. This may be true for export tapes as well. You can display
them if you do:

here. The only major difference is that my TSM server is an IBM RS/6000
(H80) running AIX 4.3.3... Anyway, within AIX, I see 15 drives and 3

become corrupt) the "cfgserv3.log" tells me to use "UPGRADE DB" command

I updated several NT Boxes from ADSM 3.1 to TSM 4.1.16. After a reboot I saw
in the eventlog an error something like : "PERFLIB: DSMCPERF.DLL is missing".
In this case,I went to the following registry entry, and I`d deleted the 'open'
and 'library' key.

look at copygroup MODE parameter, ABSOLUTE vs MODIFIED. This works for a
non-DB files just fine for controlling FULL vs INCREMENTAL. I do not know
how well it fits with a DB. I would suspect you would have to go through an
API to do an incremental.
