I see a lot of posts on this message. I had to add one.
You saw the benefit of collocating the offsite pool for a DR test. Yet if
you had a real DR you don't need that same benefit. I hope you didn't set

Hi,
Running TSM 3.7.2 server on a NT box attached to a

I'm just curious, did you ever think about using a shared library with this

Nothing obvious from your info. I would do a:
move data C20139
This will either move the data off this tape and put it back in scratch pool or give
some info in actlog as to any problem with it.

There was a product/add-on for adsm 3.1.x that was called Disk Image
Dump & Restore. It is no longer supported, but will still work with
version 4.1, from what I understand.
You used to be able to download the code from index.storsys, but I
haven't checked recently to see if it was still there.
If you are planning on using version 4.1.2 of the client for HP-UX you
will need to apply the latest patch to get you to version 4.1.2.11.
Tivoli support said that version 4.1.2.0 has a bug that will cause your
backups to fail if backing up a file > 2 GB in size.

Does exist any software to make a complete image from HDD?

I'll agree. When I built this backup solution about 9 months ago, I had the
benefit of extensive analysis from their Arcserve system of the number of
files, the total data, and the change per day to use in calculating the
storage pool sizes and number of tapes needed. I got the initial DB size
