The phone system takes care of all that. When you program the ksu for caller id it will automatically wait to let the cid information get through on each line you set for cid. You might consider calling the dealer back and asking how much 1 hour of training on the system would run, Or price out 2 or 3 dealers, I offer new customers 1st visit training for $50.00, After 1 hour most office can do all the changes needed in speed dial, programming buttons, changing names, etc., On top of that operators get tips on transferring, ring back to operator, flash to outside voice mail, Have a list ready and if he or she is a good trainer they will come with sheets to leave you that you can refer back to. KX-T: Panasonic Tech BBS

KX-T: Here's one (OT)
List, I bought a couple of the new Seimens Gigaset 2 line dealies yesterday (Model 8825) for my house. They seem pretty nifty so far but I have 2 lines. The second line is an "extra" that I use for outbound calling AND for forwarding to my cell phone. It does not have caller ID. It is pretty much always forwarded. As you know, TELCO forwarding always rings the phone line once to "remind" you that the line is forwarded. The problem that I am running into is that the "Call Log" feature (which shows CID, has callback, add to speed dial options) of the Seimens is logging these inbound/forwarded line 2 calls. My "CALL LOG" is pretty much filling up with useless line 2 data, deleting the CID info and what not for my "main" line. Anybody know of something that I can put on Line 2 to prevent the inbound ring signal from reaching the "system". I DONT need to hear it ring or answer it, I just need to be able to dial out. Keep in mind, I'm not an EE. KX-T: Re: Stickers
CSD EMSS and DSHS for sale here! I can hear the customers pounding on the door... If they made shirts they would probably have a picture of that ghost figure on the pocket. On the back it could say "ask me about my DSHS" Marketing phones does not seem to be one of their strong points. Try finding the letters KXT on their website www.panasonic.com , not even a picture of a phone on the main page. Click "Business and Professional Solutions" and you get to the "communications systems" page. Still no X-T, -- Consumer stuff, Audio, Computers, Digital Cameras, Appliances, Music, aahhh- click on "Telephones and Fax" with a sub menu of "Business and Home Systems" and you go nowhere, stay at the same page. So you find the small print "product catalog" and click, still no KX-T! Just "Digital Super Hybrid Systems" I guess if someone gets that far they'll find what they're looking for. Hopefully they will click on the "dealer locater" and be in my neighborhood cp - Original Message - From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, January 24, 2002 2:46 PM Subject: KX-T: Stickers > > found those entirely useless but I received an awsesome sales kit > > yesterday that hit the mark. RE: KX-T: Speaking of coasters....
Oh, I don't know. It's kind of challenging having the navigation pane structure but no text to go with it...:) Did anyone else notice that the TVS-50/80 only CD acts really stupid under Acrobat 5? I can't believe I have 2 bad CD's, but when I tried to read them, the index shows folders without descriptions. If I click on the folder it opens the appropriate section of the manual. Carl Navarro now all I have to do is remember the manual order :-). _ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt _ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
KX-T: Re: cd
I'm kind of wishing for a better designed product advertising product. There are parts of the cd that I would love to give to some customers, but as a whole it really doesn't fit most of them. It is good that it can be sent by mail, ... to pc users, I would rather see a good brochure that covered the basics of the system and left all the bells and whistles to the last page. The brochure writers love to give all the neat special features central space. Most of those items don't mean anything to the customers when they first look at it... ARS, Log-in/out, Station Lock, Phantom Extensions, TAFAS... cp _ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
