List,

I bought a couple of the new Seimens Gigaset 2 line dealies yesterday (Model
8825) for my house. They seem pretty nifty so far but....

I have 2 lines. The second line is an "extra" that I use for outbound calling
AND for forwarding to my cell phone. It does not have caller ID. It is pretty
much always forwarded. As you know, TELCO forwarding always rings the phone line
once to "remind" you that the line is forwarded.
The problem that I am running into is that the "Call Log" feature (which shows
CID, has callback, add to speed dial options) of the Seimens is logging these
inbound/forwarded line 2 calls. My "CALL LOG" is pretty much filling up with
useless line 2 data, deleting the CID info and what not for my "main" line.

Anybody know of something that I can put on Line 2 to prevent the inbound ring
signal from reaching the "system". I DONT need to hear it ring or answer it, I
just need to be able to dial out.
Keep in mind, I'm not an EE. I don't know the difference between a flux
capacitor and a resistor :)
