My experience with them was somewhere between the two extremes.

I got exactly what I needed from a hardware perspective, but zero
help in debugging my ISDN issues.  A sympathetic return call that
was essentially "we don't know" would be better than tens of
unreturned phone calls for support that I made.  I did finally
extract one faxed product app note from Ablecomm.  By that point
I was pretty seriously PO'd about their customer service.

I was ultimately able to figure out what was going on with my ISDN
BRI lines, through my own testing and multiple re-readings of the
manuals, along with a lot of time spent with some cisco ISDN gear.
