given a number of essential Sage dependencies which don't work on
(native) Windows,
such as GAP and Singular, native Windows port probably won't happen -
unless funding amounting
to several  person-years can be found to fix these, by people working
full-time on this for years.
The situation with WASM is similar. (I heard about GAP people
experimenting with WASM, but it's very preliminary).

This is realistic, but I doubt that the current modularisation project
is of any help.
What is realistic, and what modularisation has reportedly made more
difficult, is packaging Sage for Linux distros.
