One day you might want to take dhcpcd and the RFC documents and read the
two of them. Unless dhcpcd has improved recently its most enlightening.
I'd be interested to know what configurations pump fails in that dhcpcd
handles. I know some cases pump works dhcpcd doesnt and some where both
fail.
