I'm a big guy (240) and my QB is just fine. Over the past year it's become about the only bike I ride. It's a daily commuter, a weekend bike for long rides (30-80 miles usually), the bike I use for century rides, and even loaded down a couple times a year for weekend camping. The only thing it's a little iffy on is the camping...I would like a bike that doesn't require stopping to shift for that...and...I thinking 2011 will be a good year. :-)
I'm hoping I can figure out how to get a Bombadil this coming year...I figure it'll handle the camping gear just fine and have the added benefit of being great off-road (as well as on) when I'm out there. That's the plan anyway. We'll have to see if my personal economy agrees with the plan.
