Being Frugal is great! There are a few things I didn't really think through
or know about when I built my Sam 9 months ago.
I wish I would of built the front wheel with a dyno hub,so I could add
a head and tail light later. I don't commute or ride much at night but now
days I like to have daytime running lights ( hate dealing with
batteries). Now it's a winter project to put on the list..
But isn't that have the fun of it...tinkering with your bike and fine
tuning it to your liking. Somethings like bags, or saddles, handle bars, and
tires you have to try to know if you like it.
I think the people at Rivendell have it down to a science and are very
helpful when starting a build.
Getting perspectives from the friendly experienced people on this site is a
big plus.
