I have a Ram, and love it - absolutely. Its Grant-designed, fast,
versatile, sharp, quick, and nimble in ways that my 650B Protovelo
isn't. I would hope the Rom/Ram would stay in the line-up, but Jim
has a good point. Roadies - or folks shopping for a "road" bike,
think these are just old (every time I go out, I get the familiar
question - "how old is that?"). They just don't get it.

Now - look at the young hipsters on fixies. They love lugged steel,
Brooks saddles, Nitto bits, and are into cycling aesthetics. What are
they going to want in 5 years? When they want to go out of the
neighborhood? Maybe a Rom/Ram?
