OK, I think I figured out the Shortbread layer. The VersaTiles stylesheets rely
on Noto Sans glyph PBFs generated from [this set of
fonts](https://github.com/versatiles-org/versatiles-fonts/blob/2f77d7c98b1c3cce59fd855496fea6b094a3c02f/fonts/Noto%20Sans/fonts.json),
which omits Noto Sans Tifinagh. There is a glyph PBF for the Tifinagh Unicode
block, but without a suitable source font, it’s probably all blank.

MapLibre GL JS v5.11.0 (#6499) introduced font substitution as a byproduct
of maplibre/maplibre-gl-js#4564. That should cause it to fall back to a locally
installed font for the Tifinagh codepoints, but the blank glyphs would probably
foil that logic. (Additionally, your demo map is using MapLibre GL JS
v5.6.2, which didn’t support font substitution yet.)
